In The News: Former NBA Player Al Harrington to Help Black Canadian Youth Find Footing in the Tech Industry

The Rising Star program, developed in partnership with Athlete Technology Group, and powered by RBC Future Launch will be adding Al Harrington, former NBA player and successful entrepreneur to its roster of mentors.

The Toronto Star interviewed Athlete Technology Group CEO and Founder, Randy Osei, as well as Al Harrington to capture their motivation to be involved with the Rising Star program.

“After all the things that I’ve experienced in my life, from being a professional athlete to becoming an entrepreneur, I think that there are a lot of stories that I have that are very meaningful and could help elevate the youth,” Harrington said.
